Since its incorporation in 1968, IRIGA TELEPHONE COMPANY, INC. (IRIGATEL) has been dedicated to providing top-notch telecommunication services to the residents of Iriga City and beyond. As the first company in the Bicol Region to offer an Automatic Dial System, IRIGATEL has continually invested in advanced technology to enhance connectivity and drive economic growth. From its early days with Strowger switching systems to the latest in software-based technology, IRIGATEL has always prioritized delivering reliable and innovative communication solutions. Our expansion into the municipalities of Nabua, Bato, Baao, and Buhi, collectively known as Rinconada, underscores our commitment to serving the wider community.
COMPANY MILESTONE
In the face of a dynamic telecommunications landscape, IRIGATEL has adapted and evolved to meet the changing needs of its subscribers. Despite the challenges posed by the rise of cellular technology in the 1990s, we have emerged stronger, with a renewed focus on providing high-demand data services. Today, with a subscriber base of 2,000 and a robust 4GB capacity (soon to be upgraded to 6GB capacity), we continue to exceed expectations, especially in rural areas where large telecommunications companies often fall short. IRIGATEL remains steadfast in its mission to connect and empower the countryside, ensuring that even the most remote areas have access to reliable and cutting-edge telecommunication services.
